Boeing vs Airbus at the Paris International Air Show

The headline writers are busy – Boeing & Airbus are set for a ‘dogfight’ at the Paris international airshow.

It is to be expected. Think Coke versus Pepsi. The trans-Atlantic rivalry is set to continue at the 47th Paris Air Show.

In 2005 it was Airbus all the way. However this year it is facing stiff competition from the US based Boeing.

The numbers do tell the story. In 2006, Boeing took over the top spot with reportedly more sales than Airbus.

The 787 dreamliner shown below has show very strong promise.
