China & India are the big emerging markets for aviation.

Air China and Aviation Partners Boeing have reached an agreement to assure Air China’s future deliveries of Boeing 737-800 aircraft will be equipped with Blended Winglets. The firm order for 25 shipsets scheduled to deliver from October of this year through 2010 provides Air China, the Airline Partner of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, with the most competitive aircraft in the demanding Chinese market. With this order, over 240 737-NG aircraft in China will be equipped with winglets.

On the other hand, India is also having a strong presence at the 47th International air show in Paris. The tip seems to be that Kingfisher Airlines from India will make an important announcement at the event. Key players from Jet Airways (India), Air India and Air Deccan are also expected to be at the show.

My tip is: watch this space for more announcements!
